Iotek: RoamPod Private Text Messaging System
RoamPod allows private text-messaging over many miles, using any bluetooth connected keypad (typically a cell phone) for input. Several devices can be synced on the private network created by the technology. It offers an effective way for phone users to communicate when there is no wireless carrier available. Spindel Design developed the product from concept through prototype design.
We are at a time of confluence of ideas about how to control and monitor our world with an ever growing list of wireless and wired technologies. Spindel Design can assist in giving the technology a form and visual identity, realizing it as a product.
