Cadence Sound: Flash Series Mobile Amplifiers

Cadence challenged us with the Flash series -- how to combine a basic heatsink with a few pieces of sheetmetal to create a thoroughly modern and distinctive appearance. The combination of artfully placed angled cuts of the extrusion and dimensional stamped end-panels and top plate yielded a surprisingly sophisticated look despite its simple construction. Close attention was paid to the various harmonious surface treatments of the visible parts.
